The group BABYMONSTER is making a successful debut on their first Japan tour, heating up the local Osaka scene as their third city.

BABYMONSTER held the '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS' IN JAPAN' at the Osaka Abeno Arena on the 3rd and 4th. Even on weekdays, all originally scheduled seats were sold out, and even obstructed-view seats were opened, proving their strong local popularity by attracting over 20,000 people over the two days.

Opening the concert with their title track 'DRIP' from their first album, BABYMONSTER burst into energy with a parade of hit songs including 'BATTER UP,' 'CLIK CLAK,' 'LIKE THAT,' and 'SHEESH.' Their distinctive live performance and immersive band sound created synergy that thrilled the audience.

The solo stage infused with BABYMONSTER's debut narrative left a deep impression. The members showcased their upgraded skills with emotional ballads and powerful rap, proving the infinite potential of the 'monster rookies.' They also reinterpreted hits from 2NE1 in their own style, making the power of the YG girl group lineage palpable.

Since this was their first meeting with Osaka fans, BABYMONSTER poured everything out with unflagging passion. They enhanced the immersion with rich expressions and relaxed gestures, freely moving around the stage to connect closely with the fans. During the talk time, they communicated warmly in the Kansai dialect, bringing smiles to local fans.

In response, fans offered standing ovations and sang along, celebrating BABYMONSTER's 1st anniversary with a surprise event. BABYMONSTER expressed, "Thanks to our Monsties (fandom name), we were able to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Let's create many more anniversaries together in the future," and added, "I am happy to perform in Osaka. I hope this becomes a special memory for everyone."

With this concert, BABYMONSTER has reached the halfway point of their first Japan tour, spanning 4 cities and 12 performances, continuing the momentum toward Kanagawa and Fukuoka. They are expected to set a new record for the fastest K-pop girl group to attract 100,000 spectators during a Japan tour. The Kanagawa performance will be streamed live exclusively through the local OTT platform 'Hulu' after additional dates are confirmed.
