On the 3rd, child actress Shin Chae-rin's mother revealed IU's snack truck support through social media.
Shin Chae-rin is the actress who portrayed Yang Geum-young's childhood in the Netflix original series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" (written by Lim Sang-chun, directed by Kim Won-seok). In "When Life Gives You Tangerines," IU played the role of Ae-soon, and they shared a mother-daughter bond.
Amid this, IU expressed her affection by gifting a fish-shaped bread truck as a snack truck support to Shin Chae-rin's final filming location. IU conveyed her feelings with a banner that read, "Chae-rin, you’ve worked hard, thank you - Ae-soon’s mom."
"We were together, but she didn’t say a word and sent it as a surprise to the set. What is this… it just makes you want to cry," said Shin Chae-rin's mother, expressing her gratitude.
He said, "The fish-shaped bread truck was beyond my imagination," and added, "IU's mom, who sincerely cares for and loves Chae-rin, this is a gift I will never forget. I will always respect and love you."
