Seeing Jung Jae-kwang's ascetic life on "I Live Alone," Park Na-rae was shocked.
On the 4th broadcast of MBC's variety show "I Live Alone," Jung Jae-kwang granted.
On this day, Jung Jae-kwang said he was "nervous and excited" for his first appearance, as he began to take a closer look at his daily life. He also showcased his ultra-positive "Gratitude Man" charm by expressing thankfulness with, "I am thankful for being given today."
He then unveiled his home and, noting his love for vintage markets, said, "As time passes, I feel a sense of stability," while explaining his unique interior design taste. He also exhibited remarkable drawing skills and a keen sense.
Continuing his search for a vintage clock that would suit his one-room space, he walked to Dongmyo, known as the 'holy land for hipsters.' A walk that seemed endless took a detour in front of the Dongmyo Market by crossing the Han River. The place that drew his steps back was a store selling vintage clocks. Jung Jae-kwang, who typically loves vintage aesthetics, visited Dongmyo Market to find a clock that perfectly fits his home.
Regarding why he personally puts in the effort, he expressed his desire to find things himself. While surrounded by clocks filled with traces of time, Jung Jae-kwang couldn't keep quiet. He became entranced by the world of vintage clocks, including ones that had been mounted on airplanes and those from battleships, that are rarely seen.
However, there were clocks priced between 500,000 won and 5 million won. Although some were broken, Jung Jae-kwang made everyone laugh by saying, "I was grateful to see various clocks."
Seeing this, Park Na-rae remarked, "It was the most shocking among the members I have seen," and added, "I wonder if I could actually live an ascetic life. I feel like I'm the type that can't do it, but seeing someone who practices it, I think it's possible, which is shocking." Kian84 also noted, "Modern people are full of toxins, feeling like a real-life frog in a pot."
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae made headlines after winning an auction for a standalone house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan, for 5.5 billion won in 2021.
