Dynamic Duo's Gaeko's wife, Kim Soo-mi, confessed to receiving advances while pregnant.
On the 3rd, a new video was posted on the YouTube channel 'Not Annoying Attention-Seeking Sister' titled 'Kim Soo-mi, the cosmetics CEO who earns more than her celebrity husband Gaeko, from their first meeting to the childbirth story (first disclosure).'
On that day, Kim Soo-mi said, "We got married in 2011, so it's been 14 years. We dated for 5 years. It's quite exhausting." E Ji-hye directly asked, "You married in May 2011, and your son was born in September. Was it a fiery love?" to which Kim Soo-mi acknowledged, "Yes. (The baby) came along."
Their son is already a middle school second grader. Kim Soo-mi said, "He has middle school second grader syndrome. He doesn't listen well and stays out of the house once he goes out. It's mentally exhausting," and added, "My husband seems to understand since he played around a lot. I'm quite the studious type, so I don't get it."
In response to E Ji-hye's third question, Kim Soo-mi looked flustered but said with pride, "It's still possible." She spoke about childbirth, saying, "Both were natural births. The morning sickness was incredibly tough. It lasted almost until the 6th month. I would lie down and vomit, crawling to the bathroom. I lost 40 kg. I went through so much hardship, and yet, I ended up having a second child," she laughed.
Kim Soo-mi clarified rumors that she graduated from an Ivy League school, saying, "The Pennsylvania that people commonly know in Korea is Ivy League, but I went to a public university. It's Pennsylvania State University. There are many successful people there, but it's a different school." She confessed, "When I was in the U.S. and came back to Korea briefly, I had an experience similar to a blind date. I had to go back to the U.S. in three months, but my husband told me not to go, so I didn't."
She continued, "Then my husband went to the military. At that time, I briefly went back to the U.S.," and when E Ji-hye asked, "So when did you get pregnant? Was it while he was in the military?" he responded, "That's right. It was when he was on leave. One time. The second child was the same way," which elicited laughter.
In particular, she nearly gave birth without her husband, noting, "Gaeko went to Busan for a performance. That night, as I was trying to sleep, I felt really strong contractions. I called him and said he should come back right after the performance. I took a highway bus alone without a manager and got home around 5 or 6 a.m. Then at 7 a.m., my water broke."
Kim Soo-mi shared that she received advances even while pregnant, saying, "I gave birth in September, but it was in July. I went to play in Busan's Gwangalli Beach with my husband when I was very pregnant. My husband was at the table, and I went to the bathroom with a friend. When we came out, a man was waiting and asked for my phone number."
He added, "I think he probably didn't see my belly. So, I said, 'If you look below...' and that shocked him, and he left."
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-mi married Gaeko in 2011 and has one son and one daughter.
