In MBC's 'I Live Alone,' actor Jung Jae-kwang exudes the charm of a 'thankful man' with unyielding positivity. The sight of the rainbow club members looking stunned at Jung Jae-kwang's words about feeling thankful for the endless uphill paths and marching in the military evokes laughter.
Today (4th), MBC's 'I Live Alone' (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Soo-bin, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Ki-young) will reveal actor Jung Jae-kwang's unending walking time and Kian84's motorcycle riding scene in Jeju Island.
A video released prior to the broadcast captures Jung Jae-kwang's amazing walking course, drawing attention. Passing through complex alleyways, Jung Jae-kwang continues to walk stubbornly even before a steep uphill path. Upon encountering the uphill, he says, "I haven't worked out my lower body until now... It feels so good," and exclaims, "I am thankful for the hill," leaving the rainbow club members flabbergasted.
Jung Jae-kwang then boasts, "When I walk, I do it for 8 hours," showcasing his 'walking enthusiast' side. Surprised by Jung Jae-kwang's 7 km walk over about 2 hours while crossing the Dongho Bridge on the Han River, Park Na-rae jokes, "Can it even be called walking? Isn't it going to end at Imjingak?"
Jung Jae-kwang reveals, "It's been 11 years since I started walking. At first, I walked 20 km to 24 km a day to lose weight," and shares, "As I lost weight rapidly, I found joy in walking, and it became my healing method."
Moreover, Jung Jae-kwang shocks the rainbow club members by saying, "For me, the military was a very comfortable place." He conveys the joy of marching and becomes a 'thankful man' with unyielding positivity. In response, Jeon Hyun-moo says, "I am thankful that I can take the elevator," which evokes laughter. Interest heightens around whether Jung Jae-kwang will find the vintage clock that suits his one-room space as he walks all the way to Dongmyo, known as the 'mecca for hipsters.'
Meanwhile, Kian84's first motorcycle riding experience in Jeju Island will also be unveiled. While riding with a refreshing spring breeze, Kian84 becomes engulfed in thick fog as the elevation increases. Just moments ago, Kian84 was riding through cherry blossom paths but expresses his surprise, saying, "I felt like being sucked into a fantasy" as he rides down a road shrouded in fog.
Arriving at an area filled with dense forest, Kian84 reaches the temple where his father's spirit tablet is enshrined. His mother moved to Jeju Island, allowing his father to be placed at the temple there. Following the sound of the wooden fish, Kian84 pleasantly greets the monk in the hall and pays his respects to his father for the first time in about a year.
Park Na-rae empathizes with Kian84, who lights a candle and clasps his hands in a reverent manner, saying, "You have to go, even if you're busy. Even if you can't go during the holidays, if you go whenever time allows, it really brings peace to the heart."
Kian84 shares his feelings with a deep sense of longing and regret for his father, saying, "I always just received from him." Remembering his beloved father, Kian84, now a devoted son, touches the hearts of the rainbow club members.
Jung Jae-kwang's genuine passion for walking and Kian84 reminiscing about his deceased father will be featured in today (4th) night's broadcast of 'I Live Alone' at 11:10 p.m.
