Actor Park Ji-bin challenges himself with the film 'My Name' after six years.
The human drama film 'My Name' (director Jeong Ji-young/produced by Let's Film and Aura Pictures) is a work that explores how the wounds from the Jeju 4·3 incident in 1948 reveal themselves through the turmoil and struggles of the democratization process in the 1980s, and how they connect with future generations in today's 2024.
In the film, Park Ji-bin plays the role of 'Gyeong-tae,' a transfer student from Seoul to Jeju. Gyeong-tae is a wealthy child from a family with much money, known for being good at fighting and for creating a sense of intimidation and tension in the classroom merely by his presence.
Park Ji-bin received great acclaim for his deep acting skills by constantly taking on new roles in works such as Disney+ 'Killer's Shopping Mall,' tvN 'Blind,' and KBS2 'Red Heart.' Through this film, he is expected to find audiences with another charm different from the characters he has shown so far.
Meanwhile, the film 'My Name' completed its crank-in on the 3rd. In addition to Park Ji-bin, the casting of actress Yeom Hye-ran is generating expectations.
