Park Hyung-sik recalled his past experiences of being bullied.
On the broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' on 2nd, actor Park Hyung-sik, a former member of ZE:A, shared a story about being bullied during his trainee days.
Park Hyung-sik spoke about his time with ZE:A. He noted, "The situation was poor. Nine of us had to fit into one Carnival," adding, "We sat in order of age. I went with Dong-jun, arms linked, headbanging as we went," which drew laughter.
Park Hyung-sik reminisced about living in shared accommodations, saying, "In a room, there were two bunk beds for four people across two rooms, while the manager and Dong-jun stayed in the living room," catching attention.
Park Hyung-sik said, "I would wake up two hours early, wash up with Dong-jun, and then wake the others. That would take time, so I would take a nap in between." He also mentioned, "I would wash up while smelling things around."
He remarked, "Before joining ZE:A, there was a company I stayed with where I was cast after seeing a performance by the band department. The trainees there were those who had auditioned before. In a way, it felt like a parachute situation. The other trainees kept their distance from me."
He added, "Everyone seemed to pick sides and compete, which I thought was a part of trainee life. I just thought I needed to do well on my own. After that, when I went to the ZE:A company, I was just singing in the room, and the older members came to invite me to eat. The members of ZE:A brought me from the shadows into the light, and we started sharing meals and joking around, which helped me open up."
