In '24-Hour Health Club,' Imido and Lee Seung-woo showcase their fantastic duo.

Set to air on the 30th, KBS 2TV's new Wednesday-Thursday drama '24-Hour Health Club' (directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo) features the tenacious health fanatic, director Do Hyun-jung, who dramatically corrects the lives of overly anxious members known as 'hellinis' in a heart-pounding story about fitness growth and comedic romance.

Imido and Lee Seung-woo play the roles of Rosa and Alex, respectively, in '24-Hour Health Club.' In the drama, Rosa is a long-time fixture who has been watching over the health club since before Director Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Joon-young) arrived, showing a strong attachment and sense of responsibility for the gym. Alex, responsible for the health club's happy virus, brightens the atmosphere with his positive energy and unwavering trust in Hyun-jung.

With great anticipation for the appearance of the two as health trainers, on the 3rd (today), Imido and Lee Seung-woo shared their genuine thoughts about the project along with their special affection for the characters.

Imido noted the reason for participating in this work, saying, "As someone who loves sports and is an active athlete, I was really glad that a drama about fitness was being created. I was attracted to the story filled with relatable moments that anyone who exercises would almost certainly experience, which made me choose this project." Lee Seung-woo remarked, "The story of individuals gathering at the gym, each with their own background, was fascinating. In particular, I found the cheerful chemistry among the members very appealing."

Imido highlighted keywords to describe Rosa as 'inner strength,' 'chemistry,' and 'explosive coolness.' She expressed, "Rosa is the only one who can charismaticly handle people in a strong health club. I think it's thanks to the inner strength that Rosa possesses, and she can be called the 'chemistry queen' who showcases great chemistry not only with Alex, who sticks by her side but also with the health club's members and Director Do."

Lee Seung-woo introduced his character with the keywords 'baby face guy,' 'diligence,' and 'cheerfulness.' He stated, "Alex is called 'baby face guy (baby face + muscular physique),' which I think is a fitting nickname." He added, "In order to keep the promises he makes to himself and to live without shame, he diligently works out, and he maintains a cheerful disposition that doesn't lose hope and laughter even in difficult situations."

Imido also shared insights about working with fellow cast members. She said, "There are many scenes where we appear as a group, so we supported each other and naturally blended together. Since we are all genuinely into fitness, we checked each other's bodies and workouts even during breaks, making it feel like real trainers and members. Even now that filming has finished, we continue to share a strong friendship."

Lee Seung-woo mentioned, "The atmosphere was so good that it was challenging to hold back laughter on set. Just as Alex gained good energy from various characters, I also learned a lot from meeting good people on set. The actors had great synergy, and we matched well together, resulting in many interesting scenes."

Finally, Imido confidently stated, "'24-Hour Health Club' is everyone's story. It captures the experiences of those of us who either can't muster the courage to begin exercising or who, having started, continually give up, and conversely, those of us who are so in love with exercise that we become addicted. I believe everyone will find it relatable."

Lee Seung-woo added, "This drama shows how important it is not to aim just for a beautiful body but to love oneself and maintain physical and mental health. I appreciated the warmth underlying the various episodes and really pondered how to make it relatable and entertaining. Since it's a project we all created together, I ask that you look forward to it."
