A misunderstanding about Lee Sang-gyeong arose due to Seo Jin-joo's remarks on 'Couple Palace 2.'

On the broadcast of Mnet 'Couple Palace 2' on Feb. 2, the stories of single men and women ahead of the final proposal partner voting were depicted.

On that day, the final proposal was conducted through voting by the men. Hwang Jae-geun went directly to Seo Jin-joo, and Lee Sang-gyeong said, "I am reconsidering. I am not sure about Jin-joo and Ju-hee right now," expressing his concerns and ultimately choosing Bae Ju-hee.

Lee Sang-gyeong stated, "Jin-joo said she wanted to visit our dermatology clinic. If there is actual interest, wouldn’t good things come out? I think the person who actually showed interest was Ju-hee," revealing the reason for his choice. Furthermore, Kwon Yeong-taek and Choi Jae-yeon also chose Bae Ju-hee, and Seo Jin-joo was bewildered by the choice not being her.

After the proposal ended, Seo Jin-joo said in an interview, "I am so confused. Suddenly someone else was chosen. Continuing, Seo Jin-joo stated, "I could have given confidence to Lee Sang-gyeong, but I didn’t," and Kim Je-na observed, "But I think that person kept saying that. So, is Bae Ju-hee really that attractive?" The two continued the gossip, prompting MC Heo Kyung-hwan to remark, "Bae Ju-hee is right next to you."

Meanwhile, Bae Ju-hee had previously announced a direct approach to Choi Jae-yeon. After unexpectedly being chosen by Lee Sang-gyeong, he expressed to Choi Jae-yeon, "If I am swayed by No. 24 (Lee Sang-gyeong), then it seems right for me to choose you, Jae-yeon. If the situation were the same, I wouldn’t have been swayed this way, and I feel so sorry for being the only one shaken up."

Seo Jin-joo remarked, "It’s come to an end," and while feeling bittersweet, expressed lingering feelings to Kim Je-na, "No. 24 (Lee Sang-gyeong) was also a decent person. No. 3 (Hwang Jae-geun) made me feel the same way as my ex-boyfriend, and No. 24 felt like a husband."

Just then, Bae Ju-hee appeared, and Seo Jin-joo told Kim Je-na, "That person (Bae Ju-hee) didn’t choose me because they liked me but did so out of obligation to me," contradicting what Lee Sang-gyeong had said just 10 minutes prior.

He continued, "They said they voted because it was too hard for their heart.
