Comedian Kim Byeong-man will remarry in September.
On the 3rd, Kim Byeong-man's agency, Sky Turtle, stated to OSEN, "Kim Byeong-man will remarry in September. The prospective bride is a non-celebrity who works for a company. The wedding is planned to be held modestly, inviting only family and close friends."
Kim Byeong-man was married to a non-celebrity who is 7 years older than him in 2011, but he announced a sudden divorce in 2023. According to Kim Byeong-man, he had no choice but to proceed with a lawsuit in 2019, and as they could not reach an agreement, the couple finalized their separation in 2020.
Shockingly, only 4 years after the divorce, allegations arose last year that Kim Byeong-man habitually assaulted his ex-wife, referred to as A. However, Kim Byeong-man's side denied the allegations, stating, "Byeong-man has never assaulted his ex-wife," adding that "at the time of the alleged assault, Kim Byeong-man was overseas."
Subsequently, the police transferred the case to the prosecution with a recommendation for non-indictment, and the prosecution also concluded 'no charges' regarding Kim Byeong-man's domestic violence allegations, bringing the case to a close.
