Comedienne Lee Kyung-sil offered heartfelt life advice to her juniors.
On the 2nd, a video titled "Lee Kyung-sil, Jo Hye-ryun, Shin Gi-ru | 'Don't trust the production team, Narae' | Spicy talk, stories from 'Sebakwi', comedienne camaraderie, life advice" was uploaded to the 'Narae-sik' channel.
In that broadcast, Park Narae and Shin Gi-ru prepared food for Lee Kyung-sil and Jo Hye-ryun together. Then, the four of them shared a meal and talked, and towards the end of the video, Park Narae requested, "Please give some words of advice or encouragement to us, your juniors!"
In response, Jo Hye-ryun said, "Where is that? We should be the ones receiving advice," and Shin Gi-ru added, "But still, please give us some." Then Lee Kyung-sil candidly shared her thoughts, saying, "What I can say is that I have experienced a lot in life. You must live well without problems. Even after getting married, you must live well. The viewers truly want us comediennes to live without issues. They wish for us to live brightly. If we are not bright, it feels like a huge betrayal."
She added, "But is our life really like that? Do I live that way because I want to be unhappy? Do I want to make a scene? No, that's not it. As we live our lives, if something happens, we can't help it. But don't be tied down to that; think only about how to act and live next time, no matter what happens. That's what I want to say."
Jo Hye-ryun said, "What I want to say is, don't be alone. When things get tough, talk with seniors like this," to which Lee Kyung-sil added, "Especially to those who have experienced a lot." Jo Hye-ryun jokingly responded, "I have experienced up until before marriage."
Park Narae said, "Then when it really gets hard, I'll contact you, senior.." and Shin Gi-ru remarked, "I'll make sure to contact you after doing some work," to which Park Narae joked, "Don't make a scene on purpose."
Especially, Lee Kyung-sil emphasized, "As someone who has experienced a lot, I quickly share my know-how. So don't find that difficult. Know first how to handle things, like how to deal with the media or the production team. And don't trust the production team."
She continued, "Because when something happens to you, the first people to turn their backs on you are the production team. They are the ones who are very conscious of public opinion, so they can't help but act that way. So don't discuss with these people. Don't ever consult with the production team," she advised. Park Narae, hearing this, responded, "That's right," showing her agreement.
Jo Hye-ryun humorously suggested, "First, let's leave the group chat now," while adding, "But still, it's really valuable. I'm on the side of the production team," which made everyone laugh. Lee Kyung-sil stressed, "It's not that the production team is bad," and Shin Gi-ru added, "It's just a job."
Park Narae shared, "Living without problems is the hardest thing, and I think that's true. We must always give bright smiles, but it's difficult and it's the story that resonates with me the most right now," while Jo Hye-ryun remarked, "However, when challenges arise within that brightness, if we can overcome them well, there are fruits that bloom through that process." Lee Kyung-sil also encouraged, "There is wisdom and knowledge that comes from experience. That eventually becomes nourishment for future broadcasts."
