Heo's Diner has released behind-the-scenes stills filled with laughter.
The drama 'Heo's Diner' (directed by Oh Hwan-min and Kim Kyung-eun, written by Seong So-hyun), which premiered on March 24, 2025, has stirred viewers' desire to watch the show by releasing a ZIP compilation of the actors off-camera. The stills released feature Siu-min (as Heo Gyeon), Chu So-jung (as Bong Eun-sil), Lee Se-on (as Lee I-chae/Lee Hyuk), and Lee Soo-min (as Mae-chang/Jeong Mi-sol), whose appearances alone bring smiles.
Siu-min, showcasing a unique acting transformation through the historical figure Heo Gyeon, is devoted to character research without ever putting down the script. His keen focus and shining eyes reflect his affection for the project, making his upcoming performances even more anticipated.
Meanwhile, Chu So-jung brightens up the atmosphere on set with her harmless smile, effectively serving as a source of vitality. In this context, director Oh Hwan-min noted, 'Although So-jung had a role with significant emotional ups and downs, she maintained a wonderful balance among the actors throughout the shoot.'
In addition, Lee Se-on and Lee Soo-min, despite both playing dual roles, showcased different charms according to their characters, establishing a strong presence. Lee Se-on was noted as an actor who contemplated and prepared for the character multiple times, remaining fully in character even while waiting on set.
Amid impressive scenes of the actors immersing themselves sincerely in each shot, actors Siu-min and Chu So-jung shared their on-set episodes. Siu-min said, 'There are many scenes in the drama where we eat bungeoppang, and on the days we filmed those scenes, a snack truck would arrive with bungeoppang, leaving me with memories of avoiding it for a while.' He shared a cheerful episode and added, 'Heo's Diner can be summed up in one word: ramen. It's a familiar taste, but it's delicious no matter when you eat it, making you want to seek it out repeatedly. You can look forward to the upcoming story.'
Finally, Chu So-jung, who described 'Heo's Diner' as a warm rice bowl, mentioned an episode with actress Kim Hee-jung, with whom she has a mother-daughter acting dynamic. She said, 'I remember the emotional scene we filmed together. I was very nervous at first, but she always waited for me, held my hand, and offered various support. Thanks to her, I was able to focus on my acting.'
'Heo's Diner,' where you can experience the actors' perfect chemistry, is jointly planned by Wainat Media, Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures, and Corpus Japan, produced by The Great Show.
