Actress Seo Yea-ji delivered news of a double blessing ahead of her return to entertainment.
Seo Yea-ji's agency, Sublime, announced on the 3rd, "We have formed a dedicated team to respond to malicious slandering, the spread of false information, and defamation against our actor, Seo Yea-ji, and filed the first complaint against the online trolls at the Gangnam Police Station in January."
The official noted that "recently, among the defendants, a former staff member who spread false information about actress Seo Yea-ji has been transferred to the prosecution on defamation charges, and some whose identities have been confirmed are expected to be transferred to the prosecution soon."
Seo Yea-ji has been embroiled in various rumors, including allegations of academic fraud, school bullying, and staff abuse. In particular, in 2021, suspicions of gaslighting emerged, claiming that she manipulated actor Kim Jung-hyun during their relationship, causing disruptions on set, leading public sentiment to turn cold.
In 2022, she returned with the tvN drama "Eve," but it was 2% insufficient to appease the fans' turned hearts.
