Actor Lee Soo-hyuk walks the pink carpet at the Cannes Series.

On the 2nd, YG Entertainment announced that Lee Soo-hyuk was officially invited to the 8th Cannes International Series Festival (Cannes International Series Festival, abbreviated as 'Cannes Series') with the drama 'S Line.'

The drama 'S Line,' based on the webtoon of the same name, depicts a story of a red line, known as the S Line, that appears above people's heads, connecting those who have sexual relationships regardless of time and place. Lee Soo-hyuk plays the role of detective 'Han Ji-wook,' a captivating figure and free spirit who pursues the truth of the S Line.

In particular, 'S Line' is the only Korean content in the long-form competition institutional sector of the Cannes Series this year. It is expected to premiere globally at this Cannes Series World Premiere before its domestic release later this year.

Lee Soo-hyuk noted, "I think this might be a moment I have dreamed of for a long time. I am honored and happy to attend the Cannes International Series Festival."

In addition to the drama 'S Line,' he is also set to release the movie 'Palau' on the 9th, where he will play the role of Taehwa, a national clay shooting athlete, showcasing a wide range of emotional performances. Additionally, in another upcoming project, titled 'Sister' (working title), he seeks to transform his acting as Taesoo, a loan shark leading a kidnapping. Attention is focused on Lee Soo-hyuk's activities as he demonstrates his 'busy work' in multiple projects.

'S Line' is expected to compete against long-form candidates from around the world at the Cannes Series closing ceremony in Cannes, France, on the 29th (local time).
