The last moment of anchor Kim Joo-ha, who hosted 'News 7' for 10 years, was captured.

On the 1st, OSEN captured Kim Joo-ha's final broadcast from MBN 'News 7'. A video provided by broadcasting officials who requested anonymity shows Kim Joo-ha finishing the last segment of 'News 7' amid congratulations and cheers from the MBN reporting team.

In the video, Kim Joo-ha appears surprised while receiving bouquets and gifts prepared by the staff. Above all, he was moved by a large photo frame gift. The frame is said to contain a mosaic of photos from his 10 years of hosting 'News 7'.

According to broadcasting officials, this event was arranged by the staff to celebrate Kim Joo-ha's final hosting after consistently being the main news anchor at MBN for 10 years. Following the conclusion of Kim Joo-ha's last hosting of 'News 7' broadcast on the 31st of last month, the staff sent him off with gifts and congratulations.

Kim Joo-ha joined MBC as an announcer in 1997 and gained recognition as an anchor for MBC 'News Desk'. Even while giving birth to two children, he maintained his position as the leading female anchor of 'News Desk' for over a year. He drew more attention when, during the 2012 MBC strike, he participated in a one-person protest while on parental leave.

He later left MBC in 2015 and joined MBN as a special director starting in July of the same year, leading the reporting team. Notably, from July 20, 2015, he served as the sole anchor for MBN's news programs from 'News 8' to 'General News', and 'News 7'. It is a unique record in the domestic news broadcasting industry, where it is rare for a female anchor to host alone.

Recently, MBN, celebrating its 30th anniversary, has replaced the hosts of 'News 7' from Kim Joo-ha to Choi Jung-lak and Yoo Ho-jung, starting from the 1st. Kim Joo-ha was promoted to special executive director in the personnel reshuffle on the 20th of last month.

In his closing remarks during the final hosting of 'News 7', he noted, "This year marks 10 years since I took on the news at MBN. During this long time, covering six presidents, I have shared in the joys and sorrows of you and South Korea, and it is thanks to all of you who have cried and laughed with me over my personal matters that I have been able to come this far."

He also added, "Having been involved with the news for over 25 years, I have reported that green algae occur every year, and every time near the end it was said that a solution to the green algae would be found, yet the next year I have to report that our rivers and seas are struggling with green algae again, which I myself don't understand. I intend to pass on this unfinished news assignment to my juniors. I will prepare to greet you all in another world."
