MONSTA X member Kihyun showcases his 'handsome man' charm.
Kihyun will be a fixed participant on the cable channel E Channel's food world tour show "Ryu Student, Onam Seon" which premieres on May 17.
"Ryu Student, Onam Seon" is a new entertainment program that explores 'world's dishes', led by actor Ryu Soo-young, alongside actor Yoon Kyung-ho and MONSTA X's Kihyun as they travel abroad to learn about unfamiliar cuisines and complete their dishes with 'overseas kicks.'
On Feb. 21, after completing a year and a half of military service, Kihyun chose "Ryu Nam Saeng" as his first fixed entertainment program after discharge and is set to showcase his talents.
Kihyun noted through his agency Starship Entertainment, "I've had a keen interest in cooking for a while, and I always wanted to participate in a cooking show. I'm very happy and honored to be part of 'Ryu Student, Onam Seon'. Since this is my first fixed entertainment show after discharge, I feel excited and nervous, but I will work hard to learn a lot from my seniors and bring smiles to fans and viewers. I appreciate your love and interest."
Kihyun, who has previously appeared in various content such as MONSTA X's reality show "Mon Mukeodo Go" and GENIE MUSIC's entertainment content "Honbapsang", has established himself as an official cooking member of MONSTA X by showcasing his culinary expertise. After his discharge, Kihyun, who continuously showed interest in cooking through the free fan event he held and his personal social media channels, is expected to showcase an even more diverse charm through "Ryu Nam Saeng" by demonstrating his honed skills.
"Ryu Student, Onam Seon" featuring Kihyun will premiere on May 17, Saturday at 5:20 p.m. on E Channel.
