Actor Ma Dong-seok of the film 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' expressed confidence in the occult action.

On the morning of the 2nd, a press conference for the film 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' (written and directed by Lim Dae-hee, provided and distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Big Punch Pictures and Nova Film, abbreviated as Holy Night) was held at the Lotte Cinema Gunja Entrance located in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by the lead actors Ma Dong-seok, Jeong Ji-so, Kyung Soo-jin, Seo Hyun, Lee Dawit, and director Lim Dae-hee, who shared insights about the film under the moderation of broadcaster Park Kyung-rim.

'Holy Night' is an occult action film where a special team called 'Holy Night', led by Ba Woo (Ma Dong-seok), Sharon (Seo Hyun), and Kim-gun (Lee Dawit), eliminates evil forces in a city thrown into chaos by a cult that worships evil. The film is particularly anticipated as it is the latest work of Ma Dong-seok, firmly established as the 'One Punch Man' of Chungmuro through the 'Crime City' series.

Director Lim Dae-hee, a debut filmmaker but an enthusiast of the occult genre, adds to the film's completeness. Ma Dong-seok emphasized the film's captivating charm, describing it as "refreshing occult action."

Ma Dong-seok, who also took part in the planning, noted, "Director Lim Dae-hee is specialized in horror genre. He worked hard together with me on the script and planning the movie for a long time. I thought about what would happen if we added action and fantasy to a typical exorcist-style occult film. In a way, we were eager to create a somewhat new mixed genre film and worked hard on it."

Director Lim Dae-hee is also noted to have written papers related to the actual occult genre. He humbly expressed, "I am not sufficient to be called an expert," while also displaying confidence about the genre, saying, "I have written several papers."

Moreover, Ma Dong-seok stated, "Basically, I've decided to carry over the character that I have as Ma Dong-seok. Since my character appears, of course, there will be boxing action. This time, there is a fantasy element included, so we used a lot of wires. Special effects are also used a lot, which adds a fantastical aspect to the same boxing action. We designed it that way, and the martial arts director Heo Myung-hyung, who works with me on all my projects including 'Crime City', tried to find different aspects in the same punch action. Although fantasy is included, we tried our best to express it as realistically as possible, keeping it grounded."

'Holy Night' is set to be released on the 30th.
