Kian84 has departed for filming MBC's representative entertainment show 'The World Trip at Birth 4' (hereafter 'WTAB 4'). This season has confirmed the full reunion of 'travel companions' who were loved in past seasons, including Pani Bottle, Dex, and Lee Si-eon, raising expectations for their complete return.
The production team revealed Kian84's appearance at Incheon International Airport on the morning of April 1. Wearing comfortable casual attire, a beloved bag, and a hat, he shared his thoughts, saying, "I am more looking forward to this trip of 'WTAB' with the four of us together after such a long time," signaling the start of full-scale filming.
The production team noted, "Kian84, along with Pani Bottle, Dex, and Lee Si-eon, will all participate in Season 4," adding, "The four individuals who are beloved by viewers will come together again to embark on another unpredictable journey." The four brothers, who have gathered again after traveling through South America in Season 1, India in Season 2, and Madagascar in Season 3, will showcase their unique personalities and chemistry.
Particularly, the backdrop for this season is the ancient trade route 'Tea Horse Road.' The 'Tea Horse Road' is one of the world's most rugged mountainous areas and has been a thoroughfare of civilization walked by humanity for thousands of years, marked by beautiful natural scenery and the vibrant lives of minority groups. Kian84 will follow this path, starting from Mount Everest in Nepal, meeting various people in the mountainous regions and delving into their lives.
Kian84 has experienced the 'forest' of the Amazon, the 'fire' of India, and the 'water' of Madagascar in previous journeys, gradually encountering elements of nature. He has embarked on this journey to face the last remaining domain, the 'mountain.' Before departing, he expressed, "I am curious about the people living in the highest places," and plans to shed light on the depths of humanity, nature, and culture encountered along the way.
The production team stated, "'WTAB 4' will be a sincere journey that goes beyond a simple trip, challenging the limits of humanity against nature," and added, "Through the expedition of the Tea Horse Road with Kian84 and the full member team, we aim to maximize the quality of the series."
Meanwhile, MBC's representative entertainment show 'WTAB 4' is scheduled to air in May, and starting today (the 1st), behind-the-scenes videos will be available weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6 p.m. on the official YouTube channel 'WTAB Base Camp.'
