Music chart powerhouses are joining the drama "Bunny and Brothers" OST.
Kakao Entertainment (CEO Kwon Ki-soo, Jang Yun-joong) has revealed the lineup for the MBC new Friday-Saturday drama "Bunny and Brothers" OST, which will air for the first time on April 4 at 9:50 p.m. Various talented artists from different genres, including Jung Seung-hwan, Woody, Kyung-seo, STAYC's Aysa, Jung Se-woon, and Dragon Pony, are participating, drawing attention.
In particular, "Bunny and Brothers" is directly produced by Kakao Entertainment based on the popular Kakao webtoon, with plans to showcase the drama OST as well, leading to high expectations for synergy in the IP value chain. Kakao Entertainment has previously released numerous drama OSTs and project albums, and plans to impress viewers with a high-quality OST that perfectly integrates with the story and characters of the work. The webtoon original, drama, and OST are expected to harmonize perfectly, immersing viewers in Bunny's journey to find a boyfriend.
The newly revealed OST lineup features a range of talented artists crossing various genres from ballads to band music, capturing attention. With each released track captivating listeners, a powerful vocal group dominating the music charts is joining, and Kakao Entertainment's music label artists are also collaborating to create synergy. In particular, music director Lee Kwang-hee, who has created numerous drama OSTs including "Fire Station Next to Police Station," "Youth Blossom," "If You Like Me, Cry," and "First, Clean Hotly," will participate to enhance the album's quality.
Leading the way is Jung Seung-hwan, the era's best "emotional ballader," who has showcased sweet tones and deep emotions. Woody, known for his unique and charismatic music through songs like "If This Song Comes Out in a Club" and "Like a Flower Blooming in the Desert," and Kyung-seo, who has a refreshing voice adored by the MZ generation, are also part of the lineup, inducing over-immersion.
Additionally, Jung Se-woon, recognized as an all-around artist through various OSTs with a broad musical spectrum, is also participating to enhance the listening experience. Aysa (ISA), the lead vocalist of the girl group STAYC, which has received fans' love with her uniquely dense tone, will release her first solo OST track through this OST. Dragon Pony, growing as a "world-class band" and ‘rookie of K-band gods’ with their outstanding performances and vocal skills, is also joining to present their first OST after debuting. Expectation is also high for the music from singer-songwriter Jung Hyo-bin, who has charming vocals and emotions, and the new duo band DENI.
The "Bunny and Brothers" OST will be released weekly in parts through various music platforms, including Melon.
Meanwhile, the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Bunny and Brothers" (directed by Kim Ji-hoon, written by Sung So-eun and Lee Seul, produced by Kakao Entertainment) is based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name, which has recorded a cumulative 170 million views. It follows Bunny's romance of finding a boyfriend as she gets entangled with attractive men following her first love, which has become a dark history. No Jung-ui, Lee Chae-min, and Jo Jun-young will present a heart-fluttering youth romance, aiming to captivate viewers' hearts this spring.
