Actor Lee Gi-taek has signed an exclusive contract with KeyEast.
The comprehensive entertainment corporation KeyEast noted, "We have signed an exclusive contract with actor Lee Gi-taek, who has infinite potential. With sincerity and strong passion as weapons, he has continued his acting career steadily, and we will actively support Lee Gi-taek so that he can showcase his true value as an actor in a more diverse range of projects."
Lee Gi-taek, who debuted as a model at the 2018 S/S Hera Seoul Fashion Week, garnered attention in the advertising industry for his distinct facial features, deep-set eyes, and tall physique. He began his acting career through the 2020 web drama "Dangerous Roommates: In Seoul 2" and has built his filmography with works such as tvN's "Devil Judge," KBS2's "Flower Moon," "Brave Siblings," and tvN's "O’PENing 2023: Shoot Me."
In particular, Lee Gi-taek played the role of Yoon Teo, the head of the design team for the furniture brand "Dreb" in last year's TV CHOSUN drama "My Happy End." He created excitement with his unwavering romantic devotion towards Seo Jae-won (played by Jang Na-ra) while leaving a deep impression with a mysterious aura. In the subsequent ENA drama "Namib," he received acclaim for delicately portraying the psychology of a character, Chris, who is conflicted between dreams and reality after being released from a trainee position and becoming a club manager.
Thus, Lee Gi-taek has been transforming in each of his works, and there is heightened interest in the journey he will take with KeyEast as an actor who is expected to excel more tomorrow than today.
Meanwhile, KeyEast, which includes Cha Seung-won, Kim Hee-ae, Chae Jung-an, Park Myung-hoon, Seo Jung-yeon, Han Sun-hwa, and Kang Han-na, released six works last year, including KBS2's "Iron Family," Coupang Play's original series "Family Planning," tvN's "When the Stars Gossip," and Disney+'s original series "Trigger," demonstrating its growth into a major studio. Additionally, it has launched a new institutional sector for entertainment production, showcasing "My Kid's Private Life" and continuing its dazzling progress as a comprehensive entertainment company.
