"Catch Your Luck" has opened the curtain on a new concept family drama.
The new daily drama "Catch Your Luck" (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo), which is set to air on the 7th, portrays a frugal yet dramatic coming-of-age story of three friends who are rich, poor, and want to be wealthy, along with their families.
The comprehensive preview video released today (1st) captures the thrilling family dynamics of the "three musketeers of the world" Son Chang-min, Seon Woo-jae-deok, Park Sang-myeon, and their families, greatly raising the expectations of prospective viewers.
First, the owner of the Daewoon building, Han Mu-cheol (played by Son Chang-min), grabs attention with his wealthy yet miserly demeanor, as he tries to save on electricity bills. Mu-cheol rushes around his mansion, turning off light switches and even conserving toilet water, showcasing his penny-pinching instincts. Im Mi-ja (played by Lee Ah-hyun) and her children Han Tae-ha (played by Park Ji-sang) and Han Seo-woo (played by Lee So-won), who have lived like swans all their lives, are horrified by Mu-cheol's frugality.
On the other hand, the unusual familial love of Kim Dae-sik (played by Seon Woo-jae-deok) and Lee Hye-sook (played by Oh Young-sil), who prioritize family over money, evokes warmth. Hye-sook expresses satisfaction with her marriage to the handsome and kind Dae-sik, proudly showing off her husband's romantic nature. Dae-sik, who prioritizes family and quietly fulfills his role as the head of the household, presents a stark contrast to Mu-cheol, stimulating interest.
In addition, the story hints at entangled relationships involving the wealthy real estate president Choi Gyu-tae (played by Park Sang-myeon) and Hwang Geum-ok (played by Ahn Yeon-hong), as well as the children of Mu-cheol and Dae-sik: Han Tae-ha (played by Park Ji-sang), Kim Ah-jin (played by Kim Hyun-ji), Kim Seok-jin (played by Yeon Je-hyung), and Han Seo-woo (played by Lee So-won). In particular, curiosity is heightened about how the overlapping love lines of the children from the two rival families will unfold.
"Catch Your Luck" is expected to provide viewers with empathy and emotion through the lighthearted stories of the three musketeers turned into 'a' and 'b', and the various families facing turning points in life.
