The Genie TV original drama 'New Recruit 3' (directed by Min Jin-ki and Jo Je-wook, written by Yoon Gi-young and Kang Go-eun, based on the work by Jang Ppijju, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by A2Z Entertainment and Story Island) unveiled behind-the-scenes cuts filled with delightful moments on the 1st (Tuesday).
'New Recruit' is a series that received great love in all seasons, transcending gender and generations through the actors' performances that maximize realism with uniquely characterized roles and a charming blend of comedy. Returning with high expectations, 'New Recruit 3' depicts the chaotic military life of Park Min-seok (played by Kim Min-ho) as he faces unexpected challenges, including the arrival of two unpredictable new recruits and the comeback of an unprecedented villain right before his promotion to corporal. 'New Recruits' Kim Min-ho, Nam Tae-woo, Lee Sang-jin, Jo Jin-se, Lee Chung-gu, Kim Hyun-kyu, Lee Jung-hyun, Jeon Seung-hoon, and Lee Soo-ji once again hard carry with their evolved military life cheat codes. The buzz around the 'new faces' Kim Dong-jun, Oh Dae-hwan, and Kim Yo-han also draws attention. Especially, the collaboration between director Min Jin-ki, who has broken down the barriers between drama and entertainment by pioneering the 'military content' genre, and comedy master Yoon Gi-young heightens anticipation among drama fans.
Among the revealed behind-the-scenes cuts, the actors, showcasing a solid camaraderie strengthened by their experiences, caught attention. Kim Min-ho exudes a vastly different aura from Park Min-seok, known for his nickname 'the useless one,' as he appears serious in a monitoring session. The new faces are also fully immersed in a spirited mode to grab viewers' laughter. Kim Dong-jun, transformed into the 'national spoon,' remains focused on monitoring even during breaks. Kim Yo-han, who plays the useless junior Min Byung-nari, also shows high concentration during rehearsals. As the humor special squad returns, curiosity grows about what antics they will showcase this time, as their stories are set to captivate audiences with even more realistic military content.
