The July bride comedian Kim Ji-min has accelerated her wedding preparations.
Kim Ji-min brought warmth to the home theater while sharing her tearful and touching daily life on the TV Chosun entertainment program 'The Love Hunter of Joseon' (hereinafter 'Love Hunter'), which aired on the 31st of last month.
In this episode, Kim Ji-min traveled by car with her mother to get fitted for traditional Korean hanbok attire. They were in an awkward atmosphere, typical of a mother-daughter duo from Gyeongseong, without much conversation or eye contact. However, when a call came in from Kim Jun-ho, the atmosphere quickly lightened and changed completely. After hanging up, Kim Ji-min said, "If Dad were alive, he would have loved Jun-ho as a son-in-law," and her mother replied, "The two of them would have been a great combination."
Before getting fitted for the hanbok, Kim Ji-min first stopped at a beauty salon. While she was receiving makeup, Kim Min-kyung made a surprise visit, and when her mother chatted amiably with him unlike how she interacted with Kim Ji-min, Kim Ji-min expressed her jealousy, saying, "I wish you would treat me like that too."
A little while later, Kim Ji-min and her mother arrived at the hanbok fitting shop. Upon seeing her mother in the first hanbok, Kim Ji-min exclaimed, "Mom, you're so beautiful," and she couldn't hold back her tears, leaving her momentarily speechless. In the studio, she revealed the reason for her tears, saying, "I just felt tears coming. I thought I wouldn't have a time like this." When her mother came out in the second hanbok, she marveled, "This one has a different feeling, Mom."
After the fitting, Kim Ji-min returned home and learned how to make japchae from her mother. Following her mother's instructions one by one, she learned smoothly, and she was moved when her mother brought out a notebook with recipes for her favorite foods.
After making japchae together, Kim Ji-min and her mother continued their conversation while tasting the dish. Ji-min asked her mother why she wouldn't want her to live with someone before marriage. She was surprised by her mother's honest reply to enjoy her alone time fully. Additionally, they shared heartfelt moments as her mother reminisced about contributing financially before her marriage.
Finally, Kim Ji-min shed tears while watching her mother send a heartfelt video message to herself and Kim Jun-ho, and Kim Ji-min also responded, saying, "I loved you, Mom, and I will continue to love you," providing a deep emotional moment for viewers.
