In the program "Living Report," broadcaster Yoon Jung-soo reveals a strong desire for marriage.
The second episode of "Living Report," airing on April 2 at 10:20 p.m. on MBN and MBC Dramanet, will show broadcaster Yoon Jung-soo granting his dream of living abroad while requesting a "customized guide."
On that day, Yoon Jung-soo candidly shares, "Since I was young, living abroad has been my dream, but I have been scammed every time, so I have no money at all," and adds that he hopes for a place that has "an open view and affordable prices, while being close to Korea." Following his statement, Lee Ji-hye and Jasson recommend Laos and Kyrgyzstan, referred to as "price paradise," and engage in fierce competition to win his choice.
Earlier, in the first episode, Lee Ji-hye, who unfortunately failed to impress Kim Eung-soo, promotes Laos, known as "the France of Asia," for a chance at redemption. Lee Ji-hye calls on the Jang Man-jun, Na-ri, and Jang Se-hyun family, who have been living their second life in Laos after serving 30 years as a firefighter in Korea and retiring honorably. This family introduces Yoon Jung-soo to a full-fledged experience of daily life in Laos for just "10,000 won per person" from meals to sightseeing.
The family first heads to the traditional market "Tongkan Kham" to shop. The market attracts everyone’s attention with its affordable prices: 1,000 won for a head of napa cabbage, 900 won per kilogram of potatoes, and 700 won for a bunch of bananas. Especially, tropical fruits such as mangoes, dragon fruits, and papayas are available at about one-sixth the price in Korea, adding to the astonishment. Lee Ji-hye points out, "In Korea, a fruit basket costs around 100,000 won, but in Laos, you can buy a truckload of fruit for that amount," which stirs Yoon Jung-soo's heart.
After buying a lot of fruit at the market, the family proceeds to the most sacred temple in Laos, "Wat Si Muang," to pray for the family's health and happiness. At this moment, Lee Ji-hye asks Yoon Jung-soo, "What wish would you like to make?" He replies, "I have not given up on marriage yet," expressing his desire for marriage. However, Lee Ji-hye corrects him, saying, "I’m sorry, but this temple supposedly does not grant wishes for relationships," which moves Yoon Jung-soo. Eventually, Yoon Jung-soo questions, "Does God discriminate against wishes?" shaking up the scene.
Amidst the enchanting chemistry, "living guide" Jang Man-jun explains the local culture by saying, "Laos is a matriarchal society where women's influence is strong," and mentions that "living with in-laws" is common. The MCs then ask Yoon Jung-soo, "Is international marriage okay?" and "Is living with in-laws possible?" Yoon Jung-soo smiles leisurely and says, "I am open to everything," and even agrees that "Laos men can be laid-back," calling it a "world-class mindset country," filling the studio with laughter.
Whether Yoon Jung-soo will ultimately choose Laos or Kyrgyzstan can be seen in the second episode of "Living Report," airing on April 2 at 10:20 p.m. on MBN and MBC Dramanet.
