Singer Kim Bum-soo participated in a special fundraising effort to support victims of the forest fires.
Kim Bum-soo donated 10 million won on the 31st of last month to the Korea Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung-jun) to help those affected by the forest fires in the Yeongnam region. This donation will be used for emergency relief and recovery efforts for the victims affected by the large-scale forest fires that recently occurred in Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam.
Kim Bum-soo noted, "I send my deepest condolences to those who suffered great damage due to the forest fires, and I hope they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Kim Bum-soo joined the Honor Society, a high-value donor group of the Korea Community Chest of Korea, by donating 100 million won for COVID-19 relief efforts and support for treatment costs of children with rare and incurable diseases in 2020. He has also continuously participated in domestic and international disaster relief efforts, such as recovery from the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria in 2023 and support for the victims of an airplane accident in 2024, maintaining his positive influence.
The Korea Community Chest of Korea is conducting a special fundraising campaign for forest fire damage support until the 30th.
