Singer Kim Da-hyun has extended a warm hand to aid in the recovery from forest fire damage.
According to the Korean Red Cross on the 31st, Kim Da-hyun, a promotional ambassador for the Korean Red Cross, donated 10 million won for the recovery from the large forest fire damage primarily affecting the Yeongnam region and for supporting the victims.
Since becoming a promotional ambassador for the Korean Red Cross in 2024, Kim Da-hyun noted, "I wanted to be a small help to those suffering from the sudden disaster," adding, "I extend my heartfelt condolences and gratitude to the victims who must be greatly heartbroken due to the forest fire and to the firefighters and relief workers who are dedicated on the front lines."
Kim Cheol-soo, president of the Korean Red Cross, said, "The donation from Ambassador Kim Da-hyun will be a great help to the residents who have lost their homes to the forest fire and to the emergency responders dedicated at the disaster site," expressing gratitude, "The Red Cross will also do our utmost to continue relief efforts on the ground until the end."
The funds donated this time will be used for emergency relief activities in the forest fire-affected areas and for supporting the recovery of the victims through the Korean Red Cross.
Kim Da-hyun has received the love of her fans through her consistent activities, and with this donation, she is once again touching many by showing her commitment to social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Kim Da-hyun, now a sophomore at Seoul Performing Arts High School, is actively engaged in activities this spring season with her new song "Bok Deureogayu."
