"Yumi's Cells" season 3 is coming back.
On the 31st, Tving announced through OSEN that it is currently preparing for the production of "Yumi's Cells" season 3. However, it noted that "the timing and casting matters are under review," expressing a cautious stance.
Additionally, regarding the appearance of Kim Goeun, who played the lead role of Yumi in the last season, her agency BH Entertainment stated that ""Yumi's Cells" season 3 is one of the projects being considered and reviewed."
The Tving original series "Yumi's Cells" attracted attention from its first release. Its innovative imagination of unfolding everyday subjects into cell stories and the perfectly woven direction of 3D animation and live-action captivated drama fans and caused them to become deeply immersed.
"Yumi's Cells season 2" also maintained its position as the top contributor among paid subscribers of Tving during its airing period, receiving a hot response. In particular, it was released in more than 160 countries, both domestically and internationally, and ranked in the top 5 in the 'Americas/Europe' weekly chart within a week of release, receiving the highest rating of 9.7 out of 10 (as of June 23).
