Ten years ago, my husband suggested buying a house, even if it was a bit far away, but at that time, I thought, why should I buy a house? If I don't buy silk now, it will go to China. A house can be bought any time. However, as I started looking for houses 1-2 years ago, I found I couldn't afford to buy one. I devoted 50 years to hanbok, but in the end, a house became a distant dream."
In particular, Park Sool-nyeo noted, "Then you might say, 'But you have a country house.' The country house, I haven't been able to travel, so I wanted to see nature, spending 1 billion won. Now it doesn't even sell for 550 million won. I bought it without calculation."
Regarding her recent situation, she said, "It's difficult to go back and forth to the country house, so I got a 30-pyeong APT. I've never been able to live in jeonse. I have always lived in monthly rent. Now I'm paying the most expensive monthly rent. The rent has gone up so much, it surprised me."
In response, Park Soo-hong mentioned, "Even if you sell just a little silk," to which Park Sool-nyeo replied, "Couples getting married buy luxury goods but have no interest in hanbok. I have regrets about digging deep into one well and not looking around. In the past, silk was hope, but now it has become a burden. I feel sad that silk is going abroad. A certain customer cried and said, 'This is something the country should be doing, so why is Teacher Park doing it?'"
