A new family member has joined the Eagle Brothers.
In the 17th episode of the KBS2 weekend drama "For Eagle Brothers," which aired on the evening of the 29th at 8 p.m. (written by Kwon Hyun-sook, directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah, produced by DK E&M), Ma Kwang-suk (Um Ji-won) got trapped in a detention center, captivating viewers with the never a dull moment in the Eagle Brothers' life.
In yesterday's broadcast, Oh Cheon-soo (Choi Dae-cheol), who regained consciousness, conveyed his feelings of regret to Kwang-suk and the brothers for startling them because of him. In response, Oh Heung-soo (Kim Dong-wan) jokingly said, "Let's not be model student Oh Cheon-soo, but rather a problem uncle," lightening the mood. Grateful, Kwang-suk expressed her thanks to Moon Mi-sun (Park Hyo-joo), who had been waiting outside the hospital room, creating a warm atmosphere.
The confrontation between Ji Ok-bun (Yoo In-young) and Kim Seon-hwa (Ahn Mi-na) ended in Ok-bun's victory. Ok-bun showed a marriage photo of Seon-hwa received from a detective to her. Seon-hwa questioned whether it was a threat, to which Ok-bun replied, "I'm not making threats. If you just quietly disappear, I'll consider it as if it never happened. I can't bear to see Heung-soo getting hurt and suffering," revealing her affection for him. Ultimately, Seon-hwa decided to reveal her past to Ok-bun and quietly leave the neighborhood.
Kwang-suk and Heung-soo met Kang So-yeon (Han Soo-yeon) and demanded that she apologize to Cheon-soo. However, So-yeon retaliated, saying, "I should be the one to receive the apology." Angered by So-yeon's rude attitude, Kwang-suk engaged in a scuffle with her, during which an injured So-yeon reported Kwang-suk to the police.
Shocked by the news that Kwang-suk was trapped in a detention center because of his wife, Cheon-soo declared that he would grant her a divorce. So-yeon's duplicitous attitude, appearing relieved at the mention of divorce while later worrying about Cheon-soo, caught viewers' attention. The situation came to a close as Kwang-suk was released due to Cheon-soo's decision to divorce.
Meanwhile, the reversed relationship between Kwang-suk and Han Dong-seok (Ahn Jae-wook) enriched the drama. Dong-seok politely apologized to Kwang-suk for the misunderstandings he had held all along, but it was insufficient to change her heart. Kwang-suk casually responded to Dong-seok's friendly approach with indifference, saying, "It's a small world that my daughter was saved from danger by the brother-in-law of CEO Ma."
At the end of the broadcast, Kwang-suk headed to the Eagle Brothers' house with Cheon-soo, who was leaving the goshiwon. The scene of Joo-sil, Heung-soo, Beom-soo, and Kang-soo waiting for the two, accompanied by Kwang-suk's narration, made for a powerful ending. As the youngest followed by the second, Cheon-soo entered the Eagle Brothers' house, raising curiosity about the ups and downs they will face in the future.
The 18th episode of the KBS2 weekend drama "For Eagle Brothers" will air at 8 p.m. on Sunday the 30th.
