Amid ongoing concerns from fans regarding the health of singer and actress Ariana Grande (31), her transformation into a grandmother in a new short film has become a hot topic.

Ariana Grande showcased a drastically different appearance in the new short film 'Brighter Days Ahead', which was released alongside the 'Eternal Sunshine Deluxe' album on the 28th (local time).

She used prosthetics and heavy makeup emphasizing wrinkles for a shocking transformation and wore a gray wig. She portrayed a character sitting in a wheelchair and wearing a hearing aid.

In the 26-minute video, Grande portrayed a character named Peaches.

This short film is inspired by the 2004 film 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind', where Peaches goes to the hospital to erase memories. According to the official description, the video explores the fleeting nature of love, loss, growth, and memory, receiving praise for being a beautiful short film that evokes emotion.

'Eternal Sunshine Deluxe' is a deluxe version of the 7th album 'eternal sunshine', containing six additional tracks.

Meanwhile, Grande has shown significant weight loss in recent years, raising health concerns. Her noticeably gaunt appearance at public events has been a topic online, and reports surfaced last month that her friends worry that her grueling schedule is detrimental to her health.

Grande received praise for her leading role in the film 'Wicked', which premiered last November.
