The dazzling episodes of Song Il-gook's family brought a heated excitement on Saturday night.

The 4th episode of the ENA entertainment show 'Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I've Missed You,' aired yesterday (29th), featured the father of the nation’s triplets, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, who completed a hearty meal with their delightful banter.

Starting off grandly in Jongno, the essence of a true popular restaurant, the episode featured MCs Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young making a delicious memory trip to Song Il-gook's frequent restaurant, boasting 120 years of history. This place, also famous as the favorite of the late Kim Doo-han, offered a feast for viewers' appetites with dishes ranging from the signature beef bone soup, simmered for a long time, to refreshing kimchi made with savory beef bone broth and a portion of assorted boiled meat with four rich cuts.

Meanwhile, the adorable updates of the triplets, who are going through a puberty tunnel, were revealed. Song Il-gook showed great empathy for Manse's academic stress, noting that Manse, who seems particularly uninterested in studying, resembles him. Additionally, recognizing Manse as 'Little Song Il-gook,' he remarked, "If I touch him wrong during this time, he might turn out like me," offering heartfelt self-reflection that brought great amusement.

In front of the appetizing food, Song Il-gook revealed that he is often a weakling, admitting that he is the main cause of the couple's arguments, leaving everyone wide-eyed. He confessed that during extreme diets, he lost self-control, devouring ice cream saved by his second child, Minguk, mentioning that such mishaps happen frequently. Moreover, he joked, "My wife might let it slide once or twice, but aren't I constantly fighting over snacks with the kids?" prompting laughter.

Song Il-gook also spoke about the joyous events that occurred in their household after his marriage. He mentioned that the actual model for the drama 'The Royal Flower Fairy' recommended getting married in spring, and as if by a miracle, his mother, Kim eum-dong, had taken off as a politician, adding that his wife had also gained what is known as the contact protection right from her mother.

Additionally, the fateful behind-the-scenes story of Song Il-gook and his wife’s first meeting was shared. Amid a busy filming schedule for the drama, he met his current wife, his ideal type for a thousand years, during a blind date. Song Il-gook recalled that the timing was good in many ways, noting, "The more we talked, the more I realized I had to marry this person," attracting the envy of singles watching 'I've Missed You.'

Song Il-gook garnered surprise when he revealed that after losing his security deposit and nearly being chased out of a rented house, he managed to pay off his debts thanks to the popularity gained from the drama 'Heavenly God' and even secured his current home. He shared that during a painful time when his family finances were strained due to memorial projects for Kim Doo-han, he experienced a lot of heartache. In response, Kim Seung-soo lamented, "I wasted it all on company dinners," which caused a burst of laughter.
