On the 28th, RAY appeared as a 'food friend' on the entertainment program 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2,' aired on the comprehensive channel MBN, showcasing food broadcast and speaking skills.
On this day, RAY appeared as a 'food friend' for Jeon Hyun-moo, who embarked on an overseas trip with no plans, accompanied by the hint of 'Tokyo Dome sold out.' It was RAY's first time in Tokushima, and he demonstrated impressive sense by making a reservation at an okonomiyaki restaurant recommended by a friend and showed proactive engagement by saying, "Just trust me and follow along." RAY succeeded in the recruitment immediately with a polite tone and lovely eye smile. The restaurant owner was also familiar with IVE, the group RAY belongs to, highlighting their global popularity.
Seated in front of a large iron plate, RAY couldn't take his eyes off the menu items being made, such as 'Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki' and 'Shirayuki-hime.' As the representative 'food expert' of IVE and a member of 'Bob Sims,' RAY expressed the taste, stating, "(Osaka-style okonomiyaki has) thick batter and a texture, while Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is thinner, giving it a more delicate feel."
Later, when the three uncles commented on the 'Shirayuki-hime' with the high flavor, saying, "You may not be accustomed to the taste of yam when you are young," RAY replied, "In Japan, I've eaten a lot of yam since I was young," and jokingly added, "Or maybe I'm an adult." Especially, when Kwak Jun-bin asked about the age of RAY's parents and noted it was similar to Jeon Hyun-moo's, RAY immediately called out, "Father," drawing laughter once again.
After finishing the okonomiyaki food broadcast, RAY successfully recruited a recommendation for a local delicacy, A5 Wagyu. Welcoming the beautifully marbled A5 Wagyu, RAY exclaimed, "It's so delicious!" RAY particularly compared the taste of A5 Wagyu with Korean beef and showcased the expression 'Who made this' along with a cute ribbon heart pose, making the atmosphere more cheerful among the MZ generation.
RAY's group IVE is set to hold a fan concert 'IVE SCOUT' in Seoul and Japan in April. Additionally, RAY is scheduled to serve as the MC on the first day of the 'Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025' in Yokohama, Japan, on May 28 and 29.
