The Netflix original series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" unfolds the adventurous life of "Yomangjin Rebellious Girl" Aesoon (played by IU) and "Pudgy Iron Man" Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum), born in 1960s Jeju, through the four seasons. The series attracted attention with the collaboration of writer Im Sang-chun, known for the heartfelt stories of works like "When the Camellia Blooms" and "Fight for My Way," and director Kim Won-seok, who has provided empathy, comfort, and encouragement through works like "My Mister," "Signal," and "Misaeng," with a production budget of about 600 billion won. It features performances by IU, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, Park Hae-joon, Yeom Hye-ran, and Oh Jung-se.
Starting with the first act (episodes 1–4) capturing spring on March 7, a total of 16 episodes were presented over four weeks, airing four episodes each week. On the 28th, the concluding fourth act (episodes 13–16) was released, garnering much acclaim.
