Singer and actress Ariana Grande, who was embroiled in an infidelity scandal, mentioned her marriage to her ex-husband. She noted that her ex-husband made her life difficult before her relationship with boyfriend Ethan Slater.
According to the report on the 28th (local time), Ariana Grande seemed to imply in her deluxe album 'Eternal Sunshine' that her ex-husband Dalton Gomez hurt her emotionally during their two-year marriage.
In the report, she sang in a track titled 'Intro (End Of The World) - Extended,' "You hurt my heart, so I hurt yours," and "So I'm the bad one, because I've already hurt you so much. And you started to realize that I don't need you."
Ariana Grande also seems to criticize an ex in 'Twilight Zone.' In the track, she sings about realizing that her perception of being with someone was a lie.
Additionally, in the single 'Hampstead,' she appears to move on, and the title refers to the area in north London where she stayed while filming the musical 'Wicked' with boyfriend Ethan Slater. She also noted that speculation regarding the timing of her new romance was incorrect.
Ariana Grande sings, "I abandoned my reputation, but I avoided a greater heartache. Yeah, I feel broken, and I know you're right, but frankly, you're still wrong about everything. Too far away, you can't even come near the table."
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez married in May 2021 and finalized their divorce last March. During the divorce announcement, there were also rumors of infidelity as Ariana Grande was dating Ethan Slater.
