Singer Code Kunst adds strength to the support for wildfire victims.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 29th that Code Kunst donated 20 million won for the recovery efforts in North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Ulsan, which were affected by the wildfires.
Code Kunst conveyed, "I hope this can be of some help to those who have been affected by the wildfires and to those who are still working hard to extinguish them."
He has also donated to Hope Bridge for neighbors affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria in 2023.
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon noted, "Working together is a great strength," and expressed sincere gratitude for Code Kunst's warm support.
Hope Bridge is providing 450,000 relief supplies, including relief kits, partitioned shelters, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food items, to the wildfire-affected areas, and is continuing activities such as meal support for firefighters and laundry relief activities at shelters.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, established in 1961 by national media and social organizations, is a specialized organization for disaster relief fundraising. Its main activities include disaster emergency relief, fundraising and distribution of public donations, community recovery after disasters, and support for vulnerable populations affected by disasters. To date, it has provided 1.6 trillion won in donations and over 60 million relief supplies.
