The representative couple of the entertainment industry, Cha In-pyo and Shin A-ra, has donated 100 million won for disaster recovery from wildfires.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that actors Cha In-pyo and Shin A-ra donated 100 million won for recovery from wildfires in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan on the 29th.

The donation will be used for emergency relief, provision of daily necessities, and operation of temporary shelters for residents in wildfire-affected areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

The couple noted, "We extend our heartfelt condolences to those affected by the wildfires," adding, "Though the mountains have burned, hope has not. You are not alone; stay strong."

Cha In-pyo and Shin A-ra became members of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a gathering of high-value individual donors, through this donation and committed to further supporting neighbors affected by disasters and vulnerable groups while promoting a culture of giving.

Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon said, "We sincerely thank everyone for their warm hearts," and noted, "As the saying goes, 'though the mountains have burned, hope has not,' Hope Bridge will stand by affected neighbors until the end to ensure they do not lose hope."

Meanwhile, Hope Bridge is providing 450,000 items of emergency supplies, including relief kits, partitions for shelters, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food, to the wildfire-affected areas and is also continuing to support meals for firefighters and laundry relief efforts in affected regions.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a specialized organization established in 1961 by national media outlets and social organizations for disaster relief fundraising. Its main activities include emergency disaster relief, fundraising and distribution of national donations, community recovery after disasters, and support for vulnerable groups. To date, it has provided 1.6 trillion won in donations and over 60 million items of relief supplies.
