The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 28th that global artist Jennie has donated 100 million won for the recovery efforts in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions affected by wildfires.
Jennie said, "I felt sad after hearing that many people were suffering due to the sudden wildfires, and I wanted to help with this small gesture in hopes that it might bring comfort." She added, "I sincerely wish everyone can safely recover their daily lives and welcome a warm spring."
Jennie's donation will be used for practical recovery efforts, including emergency livelihood support for affected residents, provision of relief supplies, and operation of temporary shelters.
Shin Hoon, the secretary general of Hope Bridge, noted, "Jennie's warm heart will be a great comfort to the affected neighbors," and he said, "Hope Bridge will also do its best with a sense of responsibility to ensure that the intent of this donation is well conveyed on site."
