BTS member Jungkook participated in supporting wildfire victims by donating 1 billion won.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) stated on the 28th that BTS member Jungkook delivered 1 billion won to assist wildfire victims in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.

Of the donated funds, 500 million won will be used for emergency support and provision of relief supplies for those who have lost their homes due to the wildfire. The remaining 500 million won is intended for awareness and treatment improvements for firefighters dedicated to disaster sites such as wildfires and fires.

Jungkook said, “I hope this small help can reach everyone going through a tiring and difficult time. I hope that those suffering from this wildfire and everyone working hard in the firefighting efforts can quickly regain their peaceful daily lives.”

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude for Jungkook's precious sharing towards his neighbors, stating, “We will do our best in on-site support activities so that that sincerity can be a great comfort to the affected residents.”

In the past, Jungkook delivered 1 billion won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital in 2023 to support medical expenses for children from low-income families and the integrated care center project.

Earlier, Jungkook enlisted in active duty in the Army on Dec. 12, 2023, and is expected to be discharged in June.
