NCT Taeyong has stepped up to support victims of the large forest fire.

The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo) announced on the 28th that NCT Taeyong donated 100 million won to support victims of the forest fire and the evacuees.

Taeyong said, “Seeing the damage gradually increase, I thought I should contribute even a little,” and expressed, “Although I cannot be there on site, I wholeheartedly support and comfort everyone there.”

Chairman Kim Cheol-soo of the Korean Red Cross noted, “Taeyong's heartfelt donation will be a great source of strength for those on site,” and expressed gratitude, saying, “The Red Cross will do its utmost in relief efforts until the end on site.

This donation will be used for the recovery of the areas affected by the forest fire, including Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, and to support the evacuees.

Since the forest fire started on the 21st, the Korean Red Cross has been conducting emergency relief activities targeting the firefighting personnel and evacuees in areas affected by the forest fire nationwide, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam, Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, and Ulju in Ulsan.
