NCT idol Johnny has stepped up to help victims of the forest fire.
Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 28th that Johnny, a member of the group NCT, donated 50 million won for the recovery of the affected areas.
Johnny said, "I was heartbroken to hear the news of the significant damage caused by the large forest fire," and added, "I sincerely hope everyone can overcome this time safely, and that the forest fire will be quickly extinguished."
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "We sincerely thank Johnny for his warm generosity," and noted, "We will do our best to support the recovery and ensure that those living in shelters do not face any inconvenience through the donations received."
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge is currently providing more than 420,000 relief supplies, including relief kits, shelter partitions, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food items to the forest fire-affected areas. Various on-site relief activities, including laundry support in shelters, are also ongoing. Additionally, meal support for firefighters and on-site emergency responders is being provided.
