NCT members' relay donations add warmth.
Group NCT member Doyoung donated 50 million won to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung-jun) on the 27th to support the recovery from the wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region. This donation is to be used to support firefighters who are dedicated to wildfire extinguishing efforts.
Doyoung said, "I want to express my deep gratitude to the firefighters who are devoted on the frontline with immeasurable courage and a heavy sense of responsibility," and added, "I hope my small gesture can provide some comfort and strength to the firefighters."
Doyoung is often recognized as a representative "angel of donation" for consistently practicing sharing. In February of last year, he joined the "Honor Society," a group of major donors of the Community Chest of Korea, by donating 100 million won for the recovery efforts from the Turkey-Syria earthquake disaster, and in December of the same year, he continued his charitable deeds by donating 50 million won for underprivileged children for Christmas.
Additionally, fellow NCT member Haechan also donated 50 million won on the 26th for the recovery from the wildfire damage. The successive warm donation news from NCT members has sparked a great response among fans and is spreading positive influence.
