Actor Jung Il-woo has extended a helping hand for the recovery of victims from wildfires.

According to the Korean Red Cross on the 28th, Jung Il-woo donated 20 million won to support the recovery efforts for the damage caused by the recent wildfires that occurred nationwide.

While delivering his donation through the Korean Red Cross, Jung Il-woo stated, "I felt heavy-hearted hearing about the severe damage suffered by the residents due to the wildfires. While it is a small help, I hope it gives strength to the victims and everyone working on recovery efforts."

He added a warm message, wishing for the affected regions to recover as soon as possible and for everyone to return to a peaceful daily life.

Jung Il-woo has set an example for many through various donations and volunteer activities, including baking services for the vulnerable; overseas volunteer work in Vietnam and Indonesia; and donations for children with rare diseases, after being appointed as a publicity ambassador for the Korean Red Cross in 2023.

Kim Cheol-soo, president of the Korean Red Cross, stated, "The valuable donation from Publicity Ambassador Jung Il-woo will greatly contribute to the livelihoods and recovery support of the victims suffering from wildfire damage. We convey our deepest gratitude for his warm heart."

Since debuting in 2006 with the MBC sitcom "High Kick!" Jung Il-woo has received recognition for his solid acting skills and charm through several dramas, including "The Moon That Embraces the Sun," "Hatch," and "Bossam: Steal the Fate."
