ZEROBASEONE's Sung Hanbin joins as the MC for "World of Street Woman Fighter."
"World of Street Woman Fighter" (directed by Kwon Young-chan and Choi Jung-nam, hereafter "WSWF"), which premieres on May 27, is preparing to meet viewers as the third season of Mnet's mega hit "Street Woman Fighter." It will be a national competition involving five countries, including South Korea, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, and Australia.
As it opens a new chapter with a national competition, Sung Hanbin from ZEROBASEONE will serve as the MC for "WSWF." Sung Hanbin, who is the leader of ZEROBASEONE, is a member with "all-around" skills in both vocals and dance. Known as a "dancer" in the music industry, his exceptional authenticity towards dance, along with his experience as a host across major domestic music broadcasts and award ceremonies, is expected to make a remarkable performance as a next-generation MC.
With the lineup alone forecasting the birth of a next-level global project, the synergy is expected to increase with the inclusion of Sung Hanbin from ZEROBASEONE, the representative global boy group of the fifth generation of K-POP. Sung Hanbin stated, "It is a tremendous honor to take on the MC role for 'WSWF' alongside brilliant dancers from around the world," adding, "There is an exciting tension. I will do my best to show a good performance, so please look forward to it."
Meanwhile, "WSWF" has confirmed a lineup of six teams, including AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY. It raises expectations for an unprecedented spectacle, gathering "world-class" dancers in one place.
The first public evaluation video for the global six crews, "World of K-POP Mission," has garnered explosive responses since its release on the YouTube channel "The CHOOM," dominating the rankings of trending videos even before the broadcast.
Mnet's "World of Street Woman Fighter" will premiere on Tuesday, May 27.
