Blackpink member Jisoo extended a helping hand for wildfire damage recovery.
On the 29th, Jisoo donated 150 million won to the Korea Red Cross for wildfire recovery.
Along with this, Jisoo noted through her agency, BLISSOO, "I hope this can be a small source of strength to all those affected by the wildfire and the firefighters who are dedicated with a tremendous sense of responsibility even at this moment." She added, "Moreover, it breaks my heart to see the beautiful forest turn completely black in an instant. I sincerely hope this helps in the restoration of the forests damaged by the wildfire."
Last year, Jisoo spread positive influence by donating all the revenue from her personal YouTube channel to the child rights NGO Save the Children. She continues to contribute to relief efforts for the recent major wildfire damage occurring across the country.
Meanwhile, Jisoo successfully released her new mini-album "AMORTAGE" last month, and the title track "earthquake" achieved great success on global music charts. This month, she is meeting with global fans by successfully conducting the 2025 fan meeting tour "LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!" across seven cities in Asia including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.
Recently, she appeared as the character Yeongju in the Coupang Play series "Newtopia," displaying a captivating character transformation. She will also be active as an actress, appearing in the upcoming movie "The Reader's Perspective" set to be released in July and the Netflix series "Monthly Girlfriend."
