The Green Umbrella Children's Foundation (Chairman Hwang Young-ki) announced on the 28th that Super Junior's Eunhyuk donated 100 million won as emergency relief funds for the severe forest fire damage that occurred in the Yeongnam region.
Eunhyuk decided to donate to help the children of affected families quickly return to their daily lives after hearing about the outbreak of the forest fire. The Green Umbrella plans to use the donation funds for necessities, food, and clothing support for children's care facilities and families affected by the fire.
Eunhyuk said, "I hope this small help can assist those affected, and I express my deep condolences to the victims" and added, "I sincerely hope the forest fire is extinguished quickly without causing any further casualties."
Shin Jeong-won, the head of the social contribution cooperation department at Green Umbrella, noted, "Thank you for sending a warm helping hand to the children who lost their homes" and added, "We will continue to provide necessary support from the closest places to the affected families and children so they can quickly return to their daily lives."
