The worldwide 'golden maknae's' positive influence. It is possible because of BTS's Jungkook.
On the 28th, Jungkook donated 1 billion won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support wildfire damage relief in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions. This is the highest amount among individual donations made by celebrities known for the recent wildfire disaster. Despite currently being in military service, Jungkook has not forgotten his charitable deeds.
Of the donation Jungkook made, 500 million won will be used for emergency support and the provision of relief supplies for disaster victims who have lost their homes due to the wildfire. The remaining 500 million won is planned to be used for awareness and treatment improvement projects for firefighters dedicated at disaster sites such as wildfires and fires.
Jungkook said through Hope Bridge, "I hope this small help can reach everyone who is going through a tiring and difficult time. I hope those suffering from the wildfire and everyone working hard on the firefighting efforts can return to a peaceful daily life soon."
This is not Jungkook's first large donation. In April 2023, he generously donated 1 billion won to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital. He delivered the donation to gift everyday life to sick children and their families. Jungkook's donation is being used for the medical expenses of children from low-income families and the integrated care center project.
Jungkook's charitable actions are serving as a great example to society. With a tremendous fandom both domestically and internationally, Jungkook's exemplary behavior resonates with fans as a positive influence. He leads by example in donating whenever possible, and especially because of the overwhelming amount of donations that rival large corporations, fans' 'Jungkook pride' is sky-high.
The worldwide 'golden maknae' Jungkook did good.
