Singer So-you has joined the donation campaign for wildfire damage recovery.
The Korean Red Cross's Gyeongbuk branch announced on the 28th, "So-you donated 50 million won to support the victims of the wildfire in Gyeongbuk and the Red Cross relief activities."
So-you expressed her condolences to the victims of the large wildfire and said, "I want to help, even if just a little, in recovering from the damage and assisting the victims."
She added, "I hope to be a small source of comfort and hope for those going through difficult times," and said, "I hope you can return to a peaceful daily life soon."
So-you has been consistently donating to the Korean Red Cross since 2015. She was appointed as a publicity ambassador for the Korean Red Cross's Seoul branch in 2018 and was awarded the Korean Red Cross's Highest Honor in 2022.
So-you, a former member of Sistar, is receiving much love for her sweet tone. Her representative songs include "Touch My Body," "Alone," and "Some," among others. She also grants an appearance on MBC's "Hidden Eye."
