NCT Jaemin expressed hope that the disaster of the wildfires would come to an end.
On the 27th, Jaemin, a member of the group NCT DREAM, donated 150 million won to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byeong-jun) to support wildfire damage relief in the Yeongnam region. This donation will be used to support firefighters who are dedicated to extinguishing the wildfires and to provide relief activities for the disaster victims.
Jaemin said, "I hope this can provide a bit of comfort and encouragement to those who are losing their precious daily lives due to the wildfires and to the firefighters who are risking their lives to protect the site."
Through this donation, Jaemin has joined the high-value donor group "Honor Society" of the Community Chest of Korea. He, who has always been interested in volunteering and donating, stated, "I was able to donate because I have my beloved 'Czennie,'" adding that he wants to continuously share his heart with those in need in the future.
Jaemin's good deeds are spreading beyond individual donations to the culture of fandom. Amid the worst wildfires in history, the atmosphere of participation in donations is forming among NCT fans, "Czennie," with more fans practicing the value of "sharing together."
