Shinee's Key has continued to engage in charitable donations.
The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Woo-hun, hereafter referred to as Gyeongbuk Community Chest) announced that on the morning of the 28th, Key from the group Shinee donated 50 million won to support the victims of the recent wildfires in Gyeongbuk.
Key, who is from Daegu, said, "I decided to donate to help in some way after hearing that residents in my hometown of Gyeongsangdo suffered great damage from the large wildfires."
Key from the group Shinee donated 10 million won to the children's hospital in Chilgok Gyeongbuk National University Hospital in 2019 and has been consistently reaching out to help the community, including a recent donation of 50 million won to the children's hospital in honor of his mother's retirement.
Son Byeong-il, Secretary-General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest, noted, "I hope it will bring hope to the residents who suffered from uncontrollable wildfires," and "We will do our best to help the affected residents return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
