"Surprise" actor Kim Ha-young is set to become a married woman.
Kim Ha-young is scheduled to marry this fall, after three years of dating a vocal trainer, in a ceremony blessed by both families and friends.
This news was conveyed directly by Kim Ha-young during an appearance on TV CHOSUN's "Perfect Life," which was aired on the 26th. During the show, while appearing alongside her mother, Kim Hee-song, Kim stated, "I have a boyfriend with whom I've promised to get married this year," surprising everyone.
Kim Ha-young remarked, "It has been about three years since we met." The couple got connected through MBC's "King of Mask Singer," developed their relationship, and decided to marry after dating for about three years.
Kim Ha-young revealed, "I met my boyfriend while going for vocal lessons for filming 'King of Mask Singer.' We've been together for about three years and plan to get married this year. I will be revealing my boyfriend for the first time on the show." She added that they met during the filming of "King of Mask Singer" and started dating 10 days after their initial encounter.
Her mother expressed joy at the news of her daughter's marriage, saying, "I feel relieved. Isn't it about time, given her age? I'm so happy."
Now 47, Kim Ha-young has also shared her concerns about having children, stating, "As I'm getting into my mid-40s, I worry about whether I can have children." She added, "My boyfriend says not to stress too much and that if it happens naturally, then we should have kids. But for that, I need to understand my health correctly."
Notably, four years ago during her appearance on "Perfect Life," Kim Ha-young invited her ex-boyfriend and fellow actor Park Jae-hyun, who was also a guest on "Surprise," along with his wife to her home, showcasing a cool Hollywood style that drew attention.
When asked by Hyun-young, "Have you met your current boyfriend's family as well as your ex-boyfriend's family?" Kim Ha-young replied, "Since I'm still working with my ex-boyfriend, my current boyfriend was a bit concerned. So, I met with my ex-boyfriend's family for a meal," revealing her still-cool Hollywood encounters that surprised the other guests.
This year marks the 22nd year since Kim Ha-young debuted, and she is receiving much love from viewers as a re-enactor on MBC's "Surprise."
